Matt graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Matt is a Chartered Accountant (FCA), an Associate of the Irish Taxation Institute (AITI CTA) and a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA).

Matt trained as an accountant with KPMG and joined Quinlan Private in 2000, becoming a Director in 2005. In 2006 Matt was appointed as Managing Director of Cordea Savills Ireland, the private investor property fund management division of Savills plc, and remained there until joining Beechwood in 2009.

Matt has a wide range of experience in advising clients on the management of their personal and family financial affairs, focusing in particular on the areas of investment strategy, pensions, cash flow management, succession planning, and banking advice.
